Hotel Restaurant la Sonnerie was named after the sound of the bells in the tower - 'la sonnerie' in French - as well as for its position in the heart of Son. The French element is echoed in the cuisine, which is gaining a high reputation thanks to the French/Dutch cooking of chef Hans van de Loo (pronounced 'Loh'). And it is to be found in the tastefully decorated rooms. It comes as no surprise then to find that the owner was born in France.
